Strong Winds extensively damaged buildings in Mt. Olive late Monday night. Shortly before 10:30pm, a strong storm and high winds struck Mt. Governor Pat Quinn recently announced a six year $12.6 billion construction program to improve roads and bridges throughout Illinois. Locally Montgomery County will receive $14 million.
