Sheriff Robbins Offers Scholarship

Montgomery County students can get a boost toward college expenses thanks to sheriff Rick Robbins and the Illinois Sheriffs' Association. Robbins and the association are offering a 500 dollar scholarship as part of a 50-thousand statewide program. The scholarships are to be applied to tuition, books and fees only.  Read more...

Livestock Theft in Eastern Montgomery County

The Montgomery County Sheriff's Department and Crimestopper is seeking information about the theft of $20,000 worth of livestock. the thefts occured on three separate occasions from January 23rd through February 2nd in the rural Fillmore and Chapman areas.
