Hillsboro man arrested for delivery of Methamphetamine

A Montgomery County arrest warrant was served on 48 year old Jimmy A. Milanos of Hillsboro on November 30th for unlawful delivery of methamphetamine. The South Central Illinois Drug Task Force led the narcotics investigation, which led to Milanos' arrest at his business in Hillsboro.  Read more...

Semi Rollover Causes Traffic to Halt on I-55

A semi rollover on I-55 on Monday, November 7, caused the southbound lanes of the interstate near Springfield to be closed for several hours. Thanks to an observant citizen and a quick call to Christian County Sheriff Bruce Kettelkamp, Tera Evanchak was found at approximately 6 p.m. Friday, October 14.
