One Person Killed In A Single Vehicle Accident Near Kincaid
Fri, 05 Feb 2010 13:01:15 CST(Taylorville)--One person was killed in a single vehicle accident Friday morning on Route 104, east of Kincaid. According to Illinois State Police, a vehicle driven by 23 year old Jeana Smith of Taylorville was eastbound on Route 104, when she lost control. Her vehicle left the road, entered a ditch, and rolled over.
26 year old Kenneth Porter of Taylorville, a passenger in Smith‘s car was thrown from the vehicle, which rolled over him. Porter was pronounced dead at the scene by the Christian County Coroner‘s Office. Smith was taken to Memorial Medical Center in Springfield for treatment of minor injuries.
The accident remains under investigation.
