Bald Eagles Nesting in Coffeen
Thu, 08 May 2008 13:06:11 CDT(Coffeen)--For the second consecutive year a family of bald eagles is nesting in a Southern Illinois Wildlife Area. The Illinois Department of Natural Resources says the eagles are raising two eaglets at the Coffeen Lake State Fish and Wildlife Area. The young birds are expected to begin flying in the next couple of weeks.
